Ingredients

Main
  • 1/2 cup white gummy bears
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coconut rum

Equipment

  • Shot glasses
  • Measuring jigger
  • Mixing glass or cup
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer (optional)

Method

  1. Pour 2 ounces of vodka and 1 ounce of coconut rum into a mixing glass.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of white gummy bears to the mixing glass.
  3. Let the mixture rest for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the gummy bears to soften and infuse.
  4. Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds to distribute flavor without crushing the bears.
  5. Strain the liquid into shot glasses, leaving most gummy bear pieces behind.
  6. Divide the softened gummy bears evenly among the shot glasses.
  7. Optionally, chill the shot glasses in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes for a colder shot.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy one smooth dessert-like shot at a time.

Notes

For an extra cold experience, chill shot glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes before making shots. Serve fresh for best texture; store leftovers in the fridge up to 2 days.
