Method
- Heat one cup of water until it reaches a rolling boil in your saucepan or kettle.
- Pour the boiling water into a large mixing bowl, then add the entire 3-ounce box of jello powder. Stir continuously for at least two minutes until the powder completely dissolves.
- Let the jello mixture sit at room temperature for five to ten minutes to cool slightly before adding cold ingredients.
- Pour one cup of vodka into the jello mixture and stir until fully blended.
- Add one cup of cold fruit juice to the bowl and stir well to combine.
- Arrange shot glasses or plastic cups on a baking sheet so they sit upright and stable for easy transfer to the refrigerator.
- Carefully fill each cup three-quarters full with the jello mixture and leave space at the top for easy eating.
- Cover the tray with plastic wrap and refrigerate for three to four hours until the jello shots are fully set and wiggly.
Notes
Make these a day ahead and keep refrigerated until serving for best results. Serve straight from the refrigerator on a chilled platter.
