Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 ounces silver or blanco tequila
  • 0.5 ounce dry vermouth
  • 2 to 3 dashes of Angostura bitters optional
  • Ice cubes or crushed ice
  • Lemon twist or olive for garnish
  • Small pinch of sea salt optional

  • Cocktail mixing glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Jigger
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Citrus zester

Method
 

  1. Place your martini glass in the freezer for at least five minutes to chill.
  2. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes or crushed ice.
  3. Measure and pour 2 ounces of silver tequila into the ice-filled mixing glass.
  4. Add 0.5 ounce of dry vermouth to the mixing glass.
  5. Add 2 to 3 dashes of Angostura bitters if desired.
  6. Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for 10 to 15 seconds until well chilled.
  7. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer.
  8. Garnish with a lemon twist or olive and serve immediately.

Keep your tequila and vermouth chilled and stir gently to maintain clarity and texture.
