Method
- Place your martini glass in the freezer for at least five minutes to chill.
- Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes or crushed ice.
- Measure and pour 2 ounces of silver tequila into the ice-filled mixing glass.
- Add 0.5 ounce of dry vermouth to the mixing glass.
- Add 2 to 3 dashes of Angostura bitters if desired.
- Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for 10 to 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer.
- Garnish with a lemon twist or olive and serve immediately.
