Method
- Pull two shots of espresso into your mug or brew 1 to 2 ounces of strong coffee.
- Pour 1 cup of whole milk into a pitcher and steam with a steam wand to 150 to 155°F, or heat gently in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
- Add 2 tablespoons of sugar cookie syrup to the espresso and stir to dissolve.
- Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg into the espresso mixture.
- Slowly pour the steamed milk into the mug, holding back foam with a spoon to combine gently.
- Spoon a small amount of milk foam on top of the latte.
- Dust the foam with additional cinnamon and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Make your sugar cookie syrup in a small batch and store it in a squeeze bottle in the fridge for quick latte prep throughout the week.
