  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries or 1 cup frozen
  • 1 cup whole milk or milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping optional

  • Blender or food processor
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice cube tray or ice from freezer
  • Tall drinking glasses
  • Spoon or straw for stirring and sipping
  • Knife for cutting strawberries

Method
 

  1. Prepare your strawberries by rinsing thoroughly, removing the green tops, and patting dry to prevent a watery drink.
  2. Add the prepared strawberries to the blender.
  3. Pour in the whole milk and heavy cream over the strawberries.
  4. Add the white sugar and vanilla extract to the blender.
  5. Top the mixture with ice cubes.
  6. Blend on low speed for 5 seconds, then increase to high speed and blend for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness by blending in additional sugar for about 10 seconds or add more ice if it's too thick.
  8. Pour the frappuccino into tall glasses, top with whipped cream if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Best served immediately for optimal texture. You can store the blended mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and re-blend with fresh ice before serving.
