Ingredients

Main
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh soursop leaves or 1/2 cup dried soursop leaves
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Strainer or fine-mesh sieve
  • Teapot or heatproof pitcher
  • Measuring cups
  • Stirring spoon

Method

  1. Start by bringing the water to a gentle boil in a medium saucepan.

  3. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a teapot or heatproof pitcher.
  5. Add honey to the strained tea and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  6. If using lemon juice, add now and stir well.
  7. Pour the tea into cups and enjoy hot, or let it cool and serve over ice.
  8. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint for presentation.

Notes

Serve hot or cold. Garnish with lemon slices or mint for an extra touch.
