Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 medium lemon for fresh juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or to taste
  • 1 cup cold water adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes optional, for serving
  • Lemon slices for garnish, optional

  • Juicer or lemon squeezer
  • Measuring spoons

  • Spoon for stirring
  • Ice (optional)

Method
 

  1. Roll the lemon on the counter to soften it before cutting.
  2. Cut the lemon in half and juice it using a juicer or lemon squeezer to get about 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice.
  3. In a glass, combine the fresh lemon juice with the sugar and stir well until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour in the cold water and stir again. Adjust the water to your taste.
  5. Take a quick sip and adjust the sweetness or tartness as needed.
  6. If desired, fill the glass with ice cubes.
  7. Add a slice of lemon on the rim for garnish.
  8. Serve and enjoy your homemade lemonade.
