  • 12 ounces beer
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • Pinch of salt optional
  • Dash of hot sauce optional
  • Lime wedge for garnish optional

  • Bar spoon or regular spoon

Method
 

  1. Chill a 12-16 ounce drinking glass in the freezer for a few minutes or rinse with cold water and drain.
  2. Measure and pour 4 ounces of tomato juice into the chilled glass.
  3. Use a bottle opener to remove the cap from a 12-ounce beer bottle or can.
  4. Slowly pour the beer into the glass containing tomato juice, allowing the liquids to combine without excessive foam.
  5. Gently stir the mixture five to six times with a bar spoon to blend flavors while retaining carbonation.
  6. Taste the drink and add a pinch of salt or a dash of hot sauce to taste, stirring gently after each addition.
  7. Place a lime wedge on the rim or drop it into the drink for garnish and an optional citrus boost.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and carbonated for the best flavor and refreshing experience.
