Method
- Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil in a teapot or saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
- If using fresh raspberries, rinse them gently. For frozen, simply measure out a cup and set aside.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add the raspberries to the brewed tea. Use a spoon to gently mash them, releasing their juice.
- Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Using a strainer, pour the tea into a pitcher to remove raspberry seeds and pulp.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the raspberry tea over. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
For an extra flavor boost, add a splash of lemon juice or a few slices of lemon before serving.
