Method
- Chill your rocks glass by filling it with ice cubes and setting it aside while you prepare the drink.
- Pour 2 ounces of vodka into your cocktail shaker.
- Add 0.5 ounce of Chambord to the shaker.
- Add 2 ounces of cranberry juice and 1 ounce of blueberry juice to the shaker.
- Measure and add 0.5 ounce of fresh lime juice to the shaker.
- Pour 0.5 ounce of simple syrup into the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with a generous handful of ice, then cap and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until frosty.
- Use a strainer to pour the cocktail into your prepared ice-filled glass.
- Garnish by dropping 3 to 4 fresh blueberries into the glass and placing a lime wheel on the rim or floating on top.
Notes
Freeze your blueberries ahead of time; they'll stay firm longer and keep your drink colder without diluting it as quickly as melting ice would.
