Main
  • 0.75 ounces vodka
  • 0.5 ounces blue curacao
  • 0.75 ounces grape Gatorade
  • Ice as needed for chilling

Equipment

  • Shot glass (1.5 ounce)
  • Jigger for measuring
  • Bar spoon
  • Mixing glass or small cup

Method

  1. Chill the shot glass in the freezer for at least 2 minutes.
  2. Pour 0.75 ounces of vodka into the chilled shot glass or mixing glass.
  3. Add 0.5 ounces of blue curacao to the glass.
  4. If using a mixing glass, fill it halfway with ice before proceeding.
  5. Top with 0.75 ounces of grape Gatorade, filling just below the rim.
  6. Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 3 seconds to combine.
  7. Taste the shot and adjust by adding a splash more Gatorade for sweetness or a drop more vodka for strength.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and fresh.

Notes

Serve immediately while ice-cold and fresh. For zero dilution, chill the Gatorade in the freezer for 30 minutes instead of adding ice.
