Ingredients

Main
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups whole milk cold
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Equipment

  • Blender or immersion blender with container
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tall glasses for serving
  • Spoon or straw for drinking

Method

  1. Measure and prepare all ingredients ahead of time to ensure a balanced shake.
  2. Pour 1.5 cups of cold whole milk into the blender container first.
  3. Add 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter on top of the milk.
  4. Add 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Top the mixture with 1 cup of ice cubes to help chill and thicken the shake.
  6. Blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds, until completely smooth with no visible chunks.
  7. Check the consistency and, if too thick, add a splash more milk and pulse; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.
  8. Pour the shake into tall glasses and serve immediately with a spoon or straw.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture; chill glasses in the freezer beforehand for extra cold enjoyment.
