Ingredients

Main
  • 0.5 ounce vanilla vodka
  • 0.5 ounce peanut liqueur
  • 0.5 ounce caramel schnapps
  • Salt for rimming the glass optional

Equipment

  • Shot glass
  • Jigger or measuring spoon
  • Bar spoon or regular spoon
  • Small pitcher or mixing glass (optional)

Method

  1. If using a salt rim, wet the rim of a shot glass with water or a lime wedge and roll it through salt on a shallow plate.
  2. Use a jigger to pour 0.5 ounce vanilla vodka into the shot glass.
  3. Pour 0.5 ounce peanut liqueur into the glass with the vodka.
  4. Add 0.5 ounce caramel schnapps to the glass, letting it settle at the bottom.
  5. Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 10 seconds to combine the ingredients without aerating.
  6. Optionally chill the shot glass in the freezer for two minutes before serving or add a small ice cube to cool the shot.
  7. Observe the shot’s rich amber color and subtle sheen before serving.
  8. Lick the salt rim if used and then shoot or sip slowly to enjoy the salty-sweet, peanut-caramel flavor.

Notes

Serve immediately for best flavor and consider chilling glasses briefly for a professional presentation.
