Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, for sweetness
  • 1 slice lemon optional, for flavor

  • Fine mesh strainer or tea infuser
  • Cup or mug
  • Spoon for stirring

Method
 

  1. Boil the Water: Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add Oregano: Once the water is boiling, add 2 teaspoons of dried oregano leaves.
  3. Simmer the Tea: Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the Tea: Remove from heat and strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or a tea infuser.
  5. Sweeten (Optional): Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey if desired.
  6. Add Lemon (Optional): Add a slice of lemon for additional flavor if desired.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Pour the tea into your favorite mug and enjoy warm.
  8. Store Leftovers (If Any): Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or a sprig of mint while brewing!
