Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 bag peach herbal tea Teavana Peach Tranquility or similar
  • 1 bag chamomile tea or other soothing herbal blend
  • 1 bag mint tea or fresh mint leaves
  • 8 ounces hot water just off the boil
  • 1/2 ounce peach juice or peach nectar
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 1 thin slice fresh lemon for garnish

Equipment

  • Mug or cup, 12 to 16 ounces

  • tea strainer or infuser

Method
 

  1. Bring fresh water to a rolling boil in a kettle, then let it cool for about 30 seconds.
  2. Place the peach herbal tea bag, chamomile tea bag, and mint tea bag into a mug or cup.
  3. Pour 8 ounces of hot water just off the boil over the tea bags, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  4. Let the tea steep undisturbed for 4 minutes to extract full flavor.
  5. Remove the tea bags and gently squeeze them against the side of the mug with a spoon to release any remaining liquid.
  6. Stir in 1/2 ounce of peach juice or peach nectar while the tea is still hot.
  7. Add 1/2 ounce of fresh lemon juice to the hot tea and stir to combine.
  8. Stir in 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  9. Float a thin slice of fresh lemon on top for garnish and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For faster preparation, mix the peach juice and lemon juice in advance and refrigerate; add to hot tea when ready to serve.
