  • 0.5 ounce light rum
  • 0.5 ounce vodka
  • 0.5 ounce gin
  • 0.5 ounce tequila
  • 0.5 ounce triple sec
  • 1.5 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or mixing glass
  • Bar spoon or long spoon
  • Jigger or measuring spoon
  • Strainer
  • Highball glass or tall cocktail glass
  • Knife
  • Ice

Method
 

  1. Add a handful of ice cubes to a cocktail shaker or mixing glass to chill the ingredients.
  2. Measure 0.5 ounce light rum using a jigger and add it to the shaker.
  3. Measure 0.5 ounce vodka and add it to the shaker with the rum.
  4. Measure 0.5 ounce gin and pour it into the shaker.
  5. Measure 0.5 ounce tequila and add it to the shaker.
  6. Measure 0.5 ounce triple sec and pour it into the shaker.
  7. Measure and add 1.5 ounces cranberry juice, 1 ounce fresh lime juice, and 0.5 ounce simple syrup to the shaker.
  8. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 12 seconds until the drink is well chilled.
  9. Fill a highball glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail into the glass using a bar strainer.
  10. Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass before serving.

Notes

Always use fresh lime juice and fresh ice for the best flavor and proper dilution.
