Ingredients
  

Main
  • 4 cups water room temperature or chilled, depending on preference
  • 1/4 teaspoon potassium chloride or one serving of NoSalt or Lite Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sodium chloride sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon magnesium citrate or glycinate powder optional but recommended
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 4 to 6 drops liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener adjust to taste

  • Large pitcher or mason jar
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Stirring spoon or wooden spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Fine-mesh strainer (optional)

Method
 

  1. Measure out your potassium chloride, sodium chloride, magnesium powder, and any other electrolyte supplements, pre-measuring each for accuracy.
  2. Pour 4 cups of water into a large pitcher or mason jar.
  3. Add 1/4 teaspoon potassium chloride (or NoSalt) to the pitcher.
  4. Add 1/4 teaspoon sodium chloride to the pitcher.
  5. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon magnesium citrate or glycinate powder until fully dissolved.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice to the mixture.
  7. Add 4 to 6 drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener and stir well.
  8. Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds to ensure all minerals dissolve completely.
  9. Taste a small sample and adjust sweetness, citrus acidity, or salt level as desired before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to seven days, stirring before each pour as minerals settle.
