Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup passion fruit juice or concentrate
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice or quality bottled OJ
  • 1.5 cups guava juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract optional but recommended
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Pinch of salt enhances flavor

Equipment

  • Large pitcher or measuring jug
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or stirrer
  • Whisk (optional, for quick mixing)
  • Glass bottles or containers for storage
  • Strainer or fine mesh sieve (optional, if using fresh fruit)

Method
 

  1. Gather all tropical juices and give each one a gentle shake to ensure they are well mixed.
  2. Pour 1 cup of passion fruit juice or prepared concentrate into the large pitcher as the flavor base.
  3. Add 2 cups of fresh or quality bottled orange juice to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  4. Pour in 1.5 cups of guava juice and stir the mixture until evenly blended.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of water to dilute the concentrate to the desired strength and stir thoroughly.
  6. Stir in 3 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup, taste, then add up to 1 more tablespoon if additional sweetness is desired.
  7. Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a tiny pinch of salt to enhance and round out the tropical flavors.
  8. Transfer the juice to bottles or glasses filled with ice and serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Store in airtight glass bottles in the refrigerator for up to 5 days for optimal freshness.
