Method
- Wash all oranges under cold running water and pat dry.
- Cut each orange in half on a cutting board using a sharp knife.
- Juice the oranges using a citrus juicer until you have about 2 cups of juice.
- Strain the orange juice through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove pulp and seeds (optional).
- Add 4 cups cold water to the pitcher with the juice.
- Stir in 1/4 cup sugar until completely dissolved, about 1 minute.
- Add 1/8 teaspoon sea salt if using and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Serve over ice or chill in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
