Method
- Chill your glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
- Using a jigger, pour 0.5 ounce Chambord into the glass.
- Add 0.5 ounce Cointreau or triple sec to the glass.
- Measure and add 0.25 ounce fresh lemon juice.
- Gently stir the liqueurs and lemon juice together for about 10 seconds using a bar spoon.
- Slowly pour 4 ounces of chilled champagne or prosecco down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles.
- Give the drink a gentle stir for about 5 seconds to blend without losing carbonation.
- Twist a strip of lemon peel over the drink to release oils and drop it in as garnish.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with additional lemon juice or Chambord as desired.
Notes
Serve immediately to preserve carbonation. Adjust sweetness by varying Chambord and Cointreau ratios.
