Ingredients

Main
  • 4 cups water filtered or tap, chilled
  • Carbon dioxide CO2 from a carbonation machine

Equipment

  • Carbonation machine or soda maker
  • Glass bottle or container for storage
  • Measuring cup (optional)

Method

  1. Start with chilled water for the best fizz. Cold water retains carbonation better than warm water.
  2. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to set up your carbonation machine.
  3. Pour the chilled water into the carbonation bottle, filling it to the designated line. Avoid overfilling.
  4. Attach the bottle to the carbonation machine. Press the button or lever to carbonate, adjusting for desired fizziness.
  5. Carefully release any excess pressure to avoid spills.
  6. Once pressure is released, detach the bottle from the machine.
  7. Pour homemade club soda into glasses or store it in a fridge.
  8. Optional: Add fresh fruits, herbs, or flavored syrups for extra flavor.

Notes

Keep your water chilled before carbonating for the best results. Enjoy plain or with added flavors.
