Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 to 6 ounces ginger beer
  • 0.5 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • 1 cup fresh ice crushed or cubed
  • 1 lime wheel
  • 3 to 4 fresh cranberries
  • 1 small rosemary sprig optional

  • Cocktail shaker or mixing glass
  • Jigger for measuring spirits
  • Copper mug or rocks glass
  • Bar spoon or regular spoon
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Ice bucket or freezer
  • Cocktail strainer (optional)
  • Cutting board for garnish prep

Method
 

  1. Fill your copper mug with crushed or cubed ice until three-quarters full.
  2. Pour 2 ounces of vodka into the mug over the ice.
  3. Add 0.5 ounce of fresh lime juice to the mug.
  4. Pour in 1 ounce of cranberry juice and stir gently to combine.
  5. Slowly top with 4 to 6 ounces of ginger beer, depending on your spice preference.
  6. Stir the drink thoroughly for about 10 seconds to blend all ingredients.
  7. Slide a lime wheel onto the rim of the mug for garnish.
  8. Thread 3 to 4 fresh cranberries onto a rosemary sprig and lay it across the top of the mug.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice and chilled ginger beer for optimal flavor. Serve immediately while cold.
