Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or sweetener of choice optional
  • Squeeze of lemon optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds to the water.
  3. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the tea into a mug using a strainer or tea infuser.
  5. Add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste, if desired.
  6. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for a refreshing twist, if desired.
  7. Stir the tea gently to mix the sweetener and lemon, and enjoy.

Notes

For an extra kick, toast the spices in the dry pan before boiling for more intense flavor.
