Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1.5 cups fresh blueberries or frozen, thawed
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes about 4 to 6 cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Equipment

  • Blender (immersion or full-size)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Two drinking glasses
  • Cutting board
  • Spoon for stirring

Method
 

  1. Rinse fresh blueberries under cool water and pat dry.
  2. Pour 1.5 cups blueberries into the blender.
  3. Add 1 cup whole milk to the blender.
  4. Scoop in 1/2 cup Greek yogurt.
  5. Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons honey into the blender.
  6. Add 1/2 cup ice cubes to chill the smoothie.
  7. Optional: add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  8. Blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth.
  9. Pour smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Smoothies taste best when served immediately; leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
