Method
- Chill your martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes until half full.
- Measure and pour 2 ounces of chilled premium vodka into the shaker.
- Add 1 ounce of blackberry liqueur to the shaker.
- Measure and pour 0.5 ounce of dry vermouth into the shaker.
- Add 0.5 ounce of fresh lemon juice to the shaker.
- Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside is frosty.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass, leaving the ice behind.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries or a lemon twist and serve immediately.
Notes
Chill your vodka and liqueur in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before mixing to reduce ice needed and prevent over-dilution, delivering a perfectly cold cocktail.
