Method
- Fill your mixing glass with a generous handful of fresh ice cubes.
- Using a jigger, measure and pour 0.75 ounce of gin into the ice-filled mixing glass.
- Measure and add 0.75 ounce of green Chartreuse to the glass.
- Measure and pour 0.75 ounce of sweet vermouth into the glass.
- Add exactly 2 dashes of orange bitters to the glass.
- Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute slightly.
- Strain the chilled liquid into a coupe glass using a cocktail strainer.
- Express a lemon twist over the drink or add a cherry, then serve immediately while cold.
Notes
Chill your coupe glass in the freezer for 5 minutes before pouring to keep the drink cold longer.
