Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 cups water
  • 3-4 dried bay leaves
  • Honey or sweetener optional, to taste
  • Lemon slices optional, for garnish

  • Strainer or tea infuser
  • Measuring cups
  • Cup or mug for serving

Method
 

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add 3-4 dried bay leaves to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup.
  5. Sweeten with honey or your preferred sweetener, if desired.
  6. Add a lemon slice for garnish, if desired.
  7. Enjoy warm or let it cool for iced tea.

Notes

Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to two days.
