  • 1/4 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or honey (optional)
  • Ice for blending
  • Salt for rimming the glasses (optional)

Equipment

  • Blender

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Margarita glasses
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Run a lime wedge around the edge of your glasses and dip into salt for a salted rim.
  2. Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth blending process.
  3. Add the sliced bananas into the blender to create a smooth base.
  4. Pour in the fresh lime juice to add essential tanginess.
  5. Add tequila and triple sec into the blender for the margarita's distinctive kick.
  6. Add agave syrup if a sweeter drink is preferred. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  7. Fill the blender with 1 to 2 cups of ice to chill the drink and achieve a refreshing texture.
  8. Blend all ingredients until smooth, ensuring flavors meld perfectly.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use frozen bananas instead of fresh.
