Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 ounces light rum
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • 0.5 ounce coconut rum or coconut liqueur
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup coconut cream
  • 1.5 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 0.5 ounce dark liqueur Kahlua or similar
  • Pineapple wedge or maraschino cherry for garnish optional
  • Coconut flakes for rim garnish optional

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cocktail jigger or shot glass
  • Two tall glasses
  • Bar spoon or regular spoon
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Gather and measure all ingredients before starting.
  2. Pour light rum, dark rum, and coconut rum into the blender.
  3. Add pineapple juice to the blender.
  4. Scoop in the coconut cream and stir if separated before adding.
  5. Pour in the dark liqueur (Kahlua or similar).
  6. Add frozen pineapple chunks to the blender.
  7. Add ice cubes to chill and thicken the mixture.
  8. Blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  9. Pour into two tall glasses and garnish with pineapple wedge, cherry, or coconut flakes.

Notes

Pro Tip: Freeze your serving glasses for 15 minutes before pouring to keep the drink colder longer and enhance presentation.
