- Measure 0.5 ounces of tequila into your jigger and add it to the shaker with the other spirits.
- Measure 0.5 ounces of triple sec and add it to the shaker.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice until you have 0.5 ounces, then pour it into the shaker with everything else.
- Measure 0.5 ounces of simple syrup and add it to the shaker.
- Cap your cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until frost forms on the outside of the shaker.

Notes
Use quality mid-range spirits for best results. Keep all spirits in the freezer before making for maximum chill. This drink contains 2.5 ounces of alcohol and is equivalent to roughly 2.5 standard drinks. Always shake vigorously for the full 15 seconds to properly emulsify and chill the ingredients. Serve immediately as the drink degrades quickly once made.
